Water Solenoid Valves
Water solenoid valves are normally closed (NC) valves that are designed to control the distribution of the fluid for the hydraulic system. It blocks the flow most time and only activates when required. For example, modern bathroom equipment uses the normally closed water solenoid valves a lot. The touchless faucet has a sensor that triggers the NC water solenoid valve. The solenoid then unblocks the valve to release water from the pipe. When activated, the valve releases a certain amount of fluid. Today, most washlet toilets also use the NC water solenoid valve to flush. The other common application of NC water solenoid valves is sanitary equipment.
The demand for hand sanitizer dispensers has been growing since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The sanitizer dispenser basically shares the same mechanism as the touchless faucet, except that the water solenoid valve handles the sanitizer instead. Regardless of the medium, using the water solenoid valve is beneficial for both hygiene and economic purposes, which explains why it is such an essential component.
