Air Solenoid Valves

Air solenoid valves are also called pneumatic solenoid valves. An air solenoid valve is an essential piece of equipment in installations that control/use pressurized airflows. The valve manages the airflow by opening or closing the channel. The open and close position on a conventional valve is controlled by a handle (handwheel). An operator has to turn the handle manually. The solenoid valve, on the other hand, replaces the handle with the solenoid coil to switch the position. With the solenoid, the valve can operate without manual control, granting more efficiency and effectiveness to the system.

Aside from the ease of operation, air solenoid valves come along with another advantage, the compact size. Since the design of the solenoid valve is usually simple and compact, such a unit is compatible with most equipment and gas-powered tools that require the use of pressurized air.
